About
How many ski areas give you an opportunity to learn how to Nordic and Alpine ski, snowboard, train for, and compete in, local and regional races? The Loup Loup ski bowl is one of those mountains that offer a menu of possibilities for all ages. We offer ski and snowboard lessons for toddlers to seniors. If you want to train to be a racer, the Loup Loup Ski Team is the way to go. In fact, two of our former ski team athletes have been skiing competitively as sponsored skiers. Our ski mountain is part of the Loup Loup Ski Education Foundation, which was created to help young competitive skiers train and compete throughout the state. We are a member of the Pacific Northwest Ski Association also. The Loup Loup offers winter sustenance for all who love the snow. Our ambience is family filled, and at our core, we are all about safety and providing fun snow activities in a professional and economical way.
We are located between the Methow and Okanogan Valleys in North Central Washington. Above these valleys, the sun shines while you ski and snowboard all day to a backdrop of the rugged edges of the Cascade Mountain Range. And at the end of your snow day, the cultural play land of the Methow Valley is a short trip from the Loup Loup Pass.
We are open Wednesday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Depending on the weather, the Loup Loup’s season runs from mid-December to April 1st.
From a beginner’s first day out on the snow to seeking the ultimate powder, the Loup Loup Ski Bowl is a great mountain where you can lose the crowd of the bigger ski bowls at the bigger ski bowls.
